The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.

For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:

 

 

Team Leader in Investment Reporting & Performance (IRP) Department

 

Investment Reporting and Performance (IRP) Department is a department of BNP Paribas Securities Services providing performances and reporting services to Asset Managers and Institutional Clients.

Services provided by IRP include state of the art performance, attribution, and risk calculations delivered on line or through wide range of reports (Factsheets, Client Investment reviews) or data feeds.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing leadership by setting clear team objectives
  • Monitoring project plans for Warsaw initiatives and supply Warsaw contributions into IRP global project planning
  • Working with the IRP global teams to build a best in class function in term of expertise
  • Executing the budget of IRP Warsaw: monitor the realization of the budget and report all the activities in term of volume and quality
  • Leading the team: coaching, developing and motivating team members
  • Being the first point of contact for the legacy location
  • Guaranteeing the timely escalation of problems and highlight of incidents to the Manager or Head of Department
  • Leading team meetings on subjects such as information update, organisational issues etc
  • Supporting and monitoring KPI’s, procedures and BCP documentation
  • Actively participating in innovation projects, quality improvements

Requirements:

  • Proven, extended experience gained within the financial services.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
  • University degree in Finance, Economics or similar is necessary
  • Extensive experience within IRP business line would be an strong asset.
  • Fluency in English as working language (knowledge of French language will be an additional value).
  • Accuracy & excellent analytical skills.
  • Dedication to quality and stress resilience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ambition and determination to develop as a leader.
