Talent Acquisition & Internal Mobility Specialist

As part of the human resources team, recruiters are responsible for leading the staffing efforts of BNP Paribas Canada and building a strong workforce. As a human resources internal mobility specialist, you will develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies designed to fulfill BNP Paribas staffing needs. You will be responsible for designing our internal recruiting strategy


Develop Talent Acquisition strategies and define priorities for domestic and global mobility activities
Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing relocations program
Guide candidates and employees through the selection process
Maintains the mobility population list and creates detailed charts for reporting
Work collaboratively with HR team members, controllers, coordinators and HR business partners to facilitate appropriate mobility assistance
Drafts, routes and tracks legal documents, i.e. immigration documents and all new hire/ transferee documentation.
Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms, facilitate onboarding and transfer process
Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
Support and guide management
Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements, work with the coordinators for arranging movers, temporary housing, and providing community introductions
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
Attend recruitment activities


Undergraduate degree in Human Resources and Labour relations or equivalent
4 years of recruitment within a corporate recruiting environment
Excellent writing, time management, interpersonal and communication skills in both French and English
Recruiting and interviewing skills
Familiarity with relevant employment Law
Organizational agility, previous experience working with management
Time management, ability to balance short term priorities with long term goals
Cross-cultural sensitivity, supports workplace diversity
Team player who is self-motivated; proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Self-starter and ability to work in a flexible work environment is necessary for a variety of situations to include, but not limited to, working hours and various time zones
Experience with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems
Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Windows applications is required
