Position Purpose

Manages and resolves incidents against ServiceNow applications


 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  1. Performs routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/remediation
  2. Manages Update Set creation and migration
  3. Schedules and verifies instance clones
  4. Leads ServiceNow upgrade planning and execution with the Change Manager
  5. Manages Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists
  6. Ensures support to ServiceNow users
  7. Contributes to ServiceNow releases
  8. Work closely with product owners to report defects and manage incidents
  9. Is consulted to define change strategy and calendar
  10. Works with different level of support amongst entities

Contributing Responsibilities

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  1. XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP
  2. Basic understanding of ITIL methodologies
  3. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator mandatory, ITIL v3 highly preferred
  4. Ability to configure and enhance core applications including, but not limited to, platform UIs, service portal, mobile app, tables, forms, lists, catalogs, workflows, roles, properties, business rules, ACLs, dashboards, homepages, and reports.

Specific Qualifications (if required)

  1. Mandatory Requirements à 2+ years of ServiceNow Admin experience, ServiceNow certification, good communication skills.
  2. Good to Have à ITIL V3/4 certified.
  3. Ability to effectively organize work across multiple projects
