Job Description Summary

With moderate supervision, will work as a key member of the Network Infrastructure and Operations team. This team is responsible for supporting an enterprise network for over 600 locations.  Daily activities will include design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting Cisco Networking and Security solutions, including but not limited LAN - Catalyst switches, Data Center - Nexus switches, F5 load balancers, WAN routers, Branch routers, Wireless (WLAN), APs and Controllers, Digital Network Architecture (DNA), Software-Defined Access (SDA), Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), and Identity Services Engine (ISE) - Wired and Wireless.  Additional functions may include completion of audit and compliance reviews and documentation.  Additional duties as required and assigned.




Professional level skills in many of the following:
Requires 7 years minimum prior relevant experience.

Experience with Cisco router and switch device operation, management and configuration is required
 Professional knowledge of routing protocols (BGP/EIGRP), LAN protocols, TCP/IP protocols, and protocol analysis is required 
Knowledge of Cisco SDA/ACI/ISE is highly desirable.  
Knowledge and skills in Cisco wireless network technologies is desirable
Knowledge and skills in Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP) network technologies is desirable
Ability to troubleshoot system and application problems in a multi-protocol network is required
Knowledge of F5 LTM is desirable
Technical expertise in the implementation, operation and design of multi-vendor and multi-protocol environments found in a leading edge data center
Intermediate capabilities in analytical, research, planning, and procedure documentation

General / Administrative
 PC proficiencies including Microsoft Office and Visio
 Exhibit strong interpersonal and leadership skills working in team environment
 Effective verbal and written communication skills
 Background and knowledge of the Banking regulatory environment

Physical Requirements
 Lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent standing/walking


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience
Cisco route/switch certification desired
