Job Description Summary
As a key team member of the Sales Strategy Group within the Wealth Management Division, the Sr. Data Analytics Analyst is responsible for planning, developing, and managing sales reporting and analytics for the Wealth Management Sales Organization.  Assist with internal strategy and ad-hoc projects.  Collaborate with management and business partners to develop key messages and objectives of reporting and analytic studies. 

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop report contents and manage the review cycles to ensure timely delivery of data and projects.  Reporting will be delivered via automated dashboards, and various analytics software currently used by the Bank.
  • Develop and interpret complex analyses, deliver results in a concise high level presentation for management.
  • Analyze data to uncover trends and derive key business insights for Sales Team and WMG Leadership.  
  • Partner with Product Management and Regional Sales Leadership to deliver meaningful reporting on sales initiatives.
  • Provides guidance in constructing data metrics, statistics, and analyses. Ensures quality reports
  • Support sales team with Subject Matter Expert knowledge of the Wealth data mart, Tableau Desktop, and CRM software i.e. Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce.

Required Experience
  • Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Typically viewed as an analytics and business insights expert.
  • High level SQL skills (preferably Oracle).
  • High level of dashboard experience, preferably Tableau
  • Some exposure to CRM systems
  • Requires 7 years minimum prior relevant experience.
  • At least 3+ years’ experience interpreting the data from a business perspective and communicating those insights to nontechnical business partners and management.
  • Excellent management and control of work flows to produce deliverables within required timeframes and quality standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good inter-personal and partnering skills to facilitate effective working relationships.
  • Strong understanding of financial industry, risk management.
  • Keen eye for design and understanding of layout flows and infographics.
  • Ability to adjust to rapidly changing environment and prioritize deliverables.
  • Ability to condense information and transform technical data into easily understandable concepts.
  • Strong leadership skills.
