About the role
This exciting role based in the Infrastructure and Production (I&P) department is part of the Arval OneIT and is responsible for the delivery, support and maintenance of Arval IT infrastructure who guarantee the availability of IT services, including the monitoring and reporting of service levels across 26 countries. It’s also rich in technologies and comes with a continuous stream of changes aiming to continually improve the service levels for our businesses. Some duties will include:
Ensuring the implementation and operational maintenance of technical infrastructure components: 1500 servers, Microsoft and Red Hat Operating Systems, backups tools and operations, storage "SAN", monitoring, etc., guaranteeing a high level availability to our internal and external customers
Providing high expertise on his technical areas for both projects and support, and continuous improvement propositions,
Undertaking a proactive management of evolutions of its perimeter to prevent service interruption.
Achieving all the assignments in the respect of the good practices, and security requirements and compliance of the BNPP Group
We are looking for an experienced professional IT systems engineer who is used to working in a challenging corporate environment where constant change and delivering multiple projects is normal, so the ability to adapt, learn and juggle multiple priorities is required. All this whilst operating with the credibility of an expert and ensuring that the customer is continually at the forefront of your focus and attention. You will also be able to work well in a team and clearly understand the importance of this for overall success and happy to work collaboratively across multiple countries.
Essential skills required:
Knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Linux
High expertise on Microsoft Exchange 2016 product in big context environment >6000 users
High expertise on the Active Directory environment in big company context on 2008 forest level onwards.
Preliminary knowledge of the Skype for Business product with the Federation feature and Microsoft Sharepoint collaborative workspace tool would be useful.
The ability to speak French or Italian would be icing on the cake!
