About Businessline/Function :

FOS IA works as a part of global EMA team. The purpose of FOS IA is to perform validations of front office applications and order routing systems in UAT/Simulation environment before deploying the applications in production. Along with this, maintenance of UAT environments and performing end-to-end testing on client requests are required. This ensures good quality of the releases and the releases are bug free in production thus preventing any kind of disruption in the services.

Position Purpose

Senior Support Analyst to perform regression testing of front office trading applications and order routing system for European exchanges.

Regression testing of the front office applications are required to be performed in UAT/Simulation environment to ensure the quality of the releases before deploying in production.

Proper validation of the applications in UAT environment ensures that the product is bug free in the production environment and it will not cause any kind of disruption in the services


Direct Responsibilities

Hands on strong tester for EU/US/APAC order routing systems.

Work as part of global EMA team and release management team, write test cases, perform manual testing, develop and maintain automated test scripts for order routing systems

Performing validations for front office trading applications.

Automating the manual test cases as and when required to reduce manual testing time.

Maintain UAT environment health and manage release process from deployment in UAT to production.

Collaborate with dev and support teams to simulate prod failures and identify failure test cases. 

Contributing Responsibilities


Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Strong understanding of capital markets and market data.

Strong hands on QA testing, test case creation and server side automation experience required.

Experience of testing exchange connectivity/ order routing system/ front office trading applications/ market data.

Strong knowledge of Linux environments and shell scripting

Intermediate knowledge of Python

Understanding of Agile methodology along with hands on knowledge of tools like Confluence, JIRA, ServiceNow.

Knowhow of FIX and/or EU/US exchange connectivity protocols.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Quick learner.

Test Centric Attitude.

Highly proactive and takes initiative to identify problems areas and evolve solutions.

Additional skills (nice to have):

Knowledge of FX domain in front office and middle office.

Hands on experience in SQL, Windows Server testing.
