Experienced Legal Advisor in Investment Funds (M/F)
Permanent Contract

Your mission:

Support to Asset & Fund Services

  • Drafting and negotiating service agreements of the Bank acting as depositary bank and fund administrator;
  • Providing legal advice to the business lines, the functions and the management of the bank in order to allow them to take a decision or to pursue their activities with full information on the legal impacts;
  • Contribute to the legal watch activities of the bank in order to ensure that any legislation or jurisprudence that impacts the bank is known by the relevant persons;
  • Advising on new products and projects as well as on the impact of new legislation;
  • Handling claims, litigation and complaints.

  • You will join an international team of experienced lawyers with continuous interactions with various departments of the bank in Luxembourg and around the world.

Your Competences:

Professional experience:

  • University degree in law with specialization in financial law or company law
  • Having done an LLM and/or Cours complémentaires en droit luxembourgeois is an advantage
  • Having at least 4 to 5 years professional experience in a similar legal position (bank and / or law firm)

Soft skills:

  • Team player able to share and pass on knowledge
  • Sense of organization, priority, planning & methodology
  • Pro-activity and strong reactivity to meet short deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously, availability, flexibility
  • Ability to synthetize/simplify
  • Good analytical skills and perseverence
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Client focused
  • Self-confidence and capability to generate engagement

Technical skills:

  • Good knowledge of the legislation of the Luxembourg financial sector and especially of the    legislation applicable to investment funds
  • Good editorial capabilities

Language skills:

Fluent in German and English; French being an advantage
