Job Description Summary
Responsible for managing the KYC domain’s highly complex initiatives which have considerable financial impact and involve significant internal and/or external resources within the KYC Group. KYC effort at the Bank includes development, integration, technology, conversions and other special programs as approved. Will exercise significant latitude in managing the initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing processes of the KYC platform.

Essential Job Functions

  • Formulates, organizes and monitor inter-connected projects across the enterprise KYC domain

  • Assumes ownership of KYC domain requirements and long term roadmap
  • Works closely with LOBs and other stakeholders to identify, quantify and prioritize business requirements 
  • Oversees cross-project activities including the sequencing of implementation plans
  • Ensures that implementation plans include technical opinions and estimates of time and costs of new process; coordinates all activities relative to implementation with other bank units such as KYC IT, BSA/AML Program Team, LOBs and Operations for the most effective roll-out of new processes.
  • Develops and oversees new and existing KYC programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Develops an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Delivers regular updates to senior audiences, with an emphasis on quantifiable progress to goal, risks and issues, dependencies and mitigation strategies
  • Develops measurement systems to support KYC activities
  • Experience and ability to prioritize requirements in a complex organization with multiple competing priorities
  • Possesses deep, technical and functional understanding and experience of Know Your Customer domain, including applicable U.S. regulations as well as data dependencies. 
  • Experience in driving cross-functional projects focused on KYC within a global organization.
  • Able to engage with critical line of business partners to articulate robust business requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully solving for KYC requirements while balancing with client and employee experience.



Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Six Sigma certification and experience highly desirable
  • Must have practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within the Know Your Customer, KYC domain.
  • 10-12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in partnering with and driving cross functional and matrixed teams to achieve breakthrough performance against  measurable goals
  • Experience delivering regular updates to senior audiences, with an emphasis on quantifiable progress to goal
  • Experience developing measurement systems to support KYC activities
  • Experience and ability to prioritize requirements in a complex organization with multiple competing priorities
