Position Purpose
- Responsible for originating, structuring and marketing structured products and derivatives to WM clients
- Directly in charge of all equity products, including both the Execution and Advisory teams
- Involved into structuring non-equity flow products which remain marketed by the Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income teams
Key Responsibilities
Role and interactions
- Manage and develop the Equity Structured Flow and tailor-made derivatives teams in HK and SG with a strong focus on innovation and client satisfaction
- Propose improvements in the organisation and processes governing these activities always seeking to achieve best execution and pricing for WM clients
- Responsible for the development of innovative bespoke solutions to Family Offices, Mega Wealth and Key clients
- Responsible for the development of solutions eligible for product push and campaigns
- Coordinate with other product teams to launch structured product and rollout appropriate non-equity related derivative strategies, including on-shore centres
- Ensure a close and mutually beneficial “arms-length” relationship with Global Markets as WM favoured partner
- Foster a frequent and good relationship with other providers in order to gather intelligence on markets and competition.
- Contribute and ensure quality and consistency of recommendations and maintain good record of product follow-up
- Set up training sessions for RMs, ICs and any other relevant staff
- Support RMs by participating to client meeting and assist them to attract new AUM and acquire new clients
- Participate to the Investment Strategy Committee and to the IS Management Committee
- Support credit requests with relevant risk analysis
- Monitor and control operational risk

- Ensure all general guidelines, policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements are closely followed
Competencies (Technical / Behavioral)
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Private Banking
- Strong Private Banking knowledge
- Strong marketing sense with good client relationship/ inter-personal skills
- Good presentation skills, good negotiation skills- ability to articulate and communicate effectively
- Fluent in spoken and written English
