- We're searching for a top-notch Senior DevOps Developer to join our dynamic Electronic Equities team to work on a leading ultra-low latency algorithmic trading platform! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects on a multicultural and international organization
Your Main Activities Are
- Designing, developing, testing, and deploying DevOps / Infrastructure development environments and maintenance of eTrading platform modules, components and utilities
- Collaborating with the product team to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Working with global engineering, business and support teams to deliver better platform and services to our clients
- Be responsible for the SDLC pipeline, work on CI/CD improvements, including data migration from one tool to another
- Work on the application infrastructure configuration automation
- Support application landscape: Hardware (Virtual / Bare Metal), Network troubleshooting in close collaboration with Production Support teams
- Innovation is expected as much of the work is “greenfield”
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps environments
- Good knowledge of scripting on Python, Bash
- Experience running services on Linux/UNIX, OS fundamentals, TCP/IP stack
- Hands-on experience on the standard SDLC tool set – git, TeamCity, Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory
- Experience with system configuration tools – Ansible, Puppet
- Experience with containers technology – Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools – ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience with Unit testing and Continuous Integration/Delivery Processes (Jenkins, Junit, Mockito and possible others)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, tools such as Intellij, JIRA and Confluence and version control in Git
- Proficient Linux or Windows user
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
