Role Description and purpose

As a key part of the UK sales team, the objective of the Senior CRM, Strategic Partners role is to develop our market share with distributors (banks/Global Financial Institutions/IFA Networks/insurance companies/FoFs).

The Senior CRM, Strategic Partners will cover a portfolio of important global client relationships and be responsible for managing and growing the business, and achieving targets. He/she will develop a strategy for the development of e.g. investment platform business including strategic product development and will be responsible for the growth of the underlying support/ sales team as the business grows.

key responsibilities

·         Achieve sales target for the assigned clients.

·         Service and deepen the relationship with assigned clients, with the objective of signing partnership agreements and solidifying business.

·         Work closely with the Head of Sales UK & Ireland in deciding/implementing the sales strategy.

·         Work with the local CRMs in other countries to share relevant information/best practices and coordinate the sales efforts for Global Financial Institutions covered from the UK.

·         Manage client relationships and initiate product development and marketing ideas to achieve sales targets e.g. investment platforms (DC and wholesale).

·         Keep abreast of competitors’ activity market development and respond proactively to any market changes.

·         Identify priority targets and develop comprehensive action plans (including account planning).

·         Establish high level direct relationships with prospects and clients; to find new entry points other than the main fund selection centres and facilitate meetings with respective senior management.

·         Work in close cooperation with the marketing team to ensure improving brand recognition of BNPP AM within UK Distribution Market.

Essential skills/competencies (TEchnical / behavioural / leadership)

·         Possess strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.

·         Management skills and experience.

·         Highly committed, sales driven individual.

·         Proactive team player who takes the initiative without being prompted.

·         Demonstrates ability to deliver against prospect plans/sales targets.

·         Demonstrates ability to work with investors at a high level in the hierarchy.

·         Fluent spoken and written English

Essential qualifications & experience

·         Degree level education or equivalent, FCA registered.

·         Substantial experience in asset management with focus on Wholesale Distribution/investment platforms in the UK.

·         Demonstrate excellent sales skills with a proven track record of winning presentations/ converting sales.

·         Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Wholesale Distribution Market, knowledge of IFA Networks/Platforms would be critical.

·         Demonstrate a systematic approach to business development including the use of Client mapping (forward looking plans) on prospects.

·         Demonstrate product knowledge across investment strategies in focus.

·         Demonstrate product development experience and a strategic partnership mind-set (a solutions driven sales approach).
