Position Purpose

Senior Business Manager position for CCG & CMG within the COO Office

CCG focuses on the coverage of all Corporate clients in APAC. It encompasses all coverage teams and includes Industry Groups and M&A to provide strategic content.

CMG brings together all financing activities (i.e. Real Assets, LCM, Loan Book), Capital Markets activities (DCM, ECM and Strategic Hedging) and syndication (LMFS) to offer one-stop-shop financing solutions to our clients.

The Senior Business Manager will be a key enabler/driver to the CCG & CMG Platform and ensure smooth communication and partnerships with all stakeholders including with other business lines, Territory Management, Finance, ITO, HR, Brands & Communications, Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

  • Contribute to the monitoring of CCG and CMG financial performance and resources on an ongoing basis including revenues, direct and indirect costs, headcounts, cost of risk, RWA
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc analysis and presentations for CCG Management and CMG Management
  • Ensure accurate and timely booking of CCG and CMG transactions revenues, and implementation of fee sharing where relevant, in collaboration with CCG and CMG business teams, Finance and Tax
  • Contribute to enhancing the revenues booking and fee sharing processes for CCG and CMG transactions as and when needed
  • Participate in the budget process end-to-end (Managed Revenues, Client Revenues, Headcount, Costs, RWA & Exposure)
  • Contribute to implement new finance and accounting procedures to CCG and CMG in collaboration with Finance and/or relevant teams
  • Ensure a close collaboration with functions - in particular Finance, ITO and HR - to ensure consistency in CCG and CMG revenues and costs recognition

CCG and CMG Governance:

  • Ensure CCG and CMG Governance is operational and applied, including but not limited to, ensure Mandate Approval Forms are duly and adequately prepared by the deal team, organize CCG and CMG committees on a timely basis with relevant committee members invited, prepare high quality minutes on a timely basis and circulate them to the relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to the preparation of related materials for committees involving CCG and / or CMG
  • Lead/Contribute to the update of existing procedures and development of new procedures as and when needed
  • Support in the timely coordination and follow-up on internal and external audits in collaboration with OPC and other relevant teams
  • Contribute to the Permanent Control framework and responding to regulatory requests

CCG and CMG Platform Enablers:

  • Be solution driven and make recommendations to enhance CCG and CMG processes, reporting, market monitoring and league tables monitoring
  • Contribute to key strategic initiatives and projects for CCG and CMG (including ad-hoc assignments, partnerships / bridges with other metiers)
  • Lead/contribute to transversal projects in relation to KYC, Credit, IT projects etc. for CCG and CMG
  • Coordinate and/or support the implementation of new tools/system (e.g. payment system, gift and invitation platform, credit related tools) within CCG and CMG in collaboration with relevant teams
  • Produce ad hoc studies/review on strategic initiatives for CCG & CMG Management
  • Coordinates external and internal events for CCG and CMG in collaboration with Brands & Communications including supporting CCG Management and CMG Management in the preparation of CCG & CMG Townhall / Seminars on an ad-hoc and periodic basis in collaboration with Brands and Communication
  • Support CCG and CMG teams in their prospection activities, through client mapping exercises, benchmarking  and other activities
  • Facilitate and enhance internal communication within CCG and CMG organization

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel including data mining abilities, usage of pivot tables etc.

  • Experience and Specific Qualifications Required
  • 6 to 9 years of professional experience in corporate banking environment
  • Prior experience related to controls and audit is a plus
  • Prior experience in Global Banking or Investment Banking is a plus
  • Prior experience in Business Management is a plus
