We are looking for Rural Surveyor Graduates and Farm Management Graduates to join us in September 2024 in the following locations:
Scotland, North East, North West, Midlands, East Anglia, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Hertfordshire, South East and South West.
Graduate Rural Surveyor
The Graduate Programme supports you to become a Rural Chartered Surveyor with the RICS and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, and the programme generally takes on average two years to complete.
Our Land Management Department is one of the largest of its kind, specialising in looking after private clients. We advise on over 1000 rural estates and, each year, we welcome new graduates into our offices across England and Scotland. All our graduates are expected to study towards membership of RICS, and most join us having completed a degree course approved by RICS. We are, however, pleased to accept applications from graduates of other subjects on the understanding that they will have to undertake further study to “convert” their degrees.
Our Land Management teams are based in the following offices:
Cambridge; Canterbury; Chelmsford; Chester; Cirencester; Exeter; Edinburgh; Guildford; Harrogate; Inverness; Ipswich; Lewes; Northallerton; Norwich; Oxford; Perth; Salisbury; Shrewsbury; St Albans; Stamford.
Strutt & Parker offers you all the support you will need to help you pass your APC at the earliest opportunity. You will gain varied on-the-job experience working as part of one of our successful teams, and will quickly be given plenty of responsibility for looking after the interests of our clients.
Graduate - Farm Management
Farming
Our Farming Department helps landowners and farmers meet their business objectives and make the most from their land. Strutt & Parker would usually be looking for Graduates with strong farming backgrounds and good agriculture-related degrees. It is anticipated that the 24 month farming graduate programme will build on existing knowledge gained at degree level education and / or through previous farming experience.
Throughout the graduate development programme you will have the opportunity to develop specialist skills through formal training such as; FACTS, BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection, BASIS Certificate in Sustainable Land Management or CAAV membership.
