Residential Real Estate Onboarding Analyst

The role

The Residential Onboarding Analyst is a new role, to act as liaison between the 7 London Residential Estate Agency offices (and occasionally other offices across the country) and the Central Client Onboarding Team focussing on prioritising urgent and complex cases, and monitoring periodic reviews in accordance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations and internal BNPPRE policies and procedures.  The ROC will assist with undertaking due diligence to ensure that appropriate Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, Terms and Conditions and other information is obtained and maintained.  Additionally, the ROC will report on progress, prioritise the cases, monitor risk and help train local COT analysts.  Gaining the


Key deliverables

  • Establish relationships with the Relationship Managers in the offices.

  • Liaise with the Central Client Onboarding Team

  • Assist with training the local COT analysts

  • Complete due diligence on new accounts to ensure compliance with requirements of the BNP Paribas group KYC policies.

  • Help local COT analysts with remediating incomplete records.

  • Where required, engage with external clients to facilitate and accelerate the onboarding process. 

  • Perform periodic reviews (quality assurance checks) of clients and counterparties as required.

  • Proactively resolve queries from the offices, highlighting and escalating issues where necessary to Central COT and the Compliance Team.

Essential experience

  • Proficient in undertaking client due diligence.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook, internet search engines.

  • An interest in or working knowledge of the residential real estate market is preferred.

  • Demonstrable experience

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  • An interest / working knowledge of residential real estate markets
