CIB Conduct & Control Analyst

As part of the CIB of Tomorrow program and following the “Respect limits” program, the CIB PROTECT initiative has been launched in July 2016 to ensure that CIB achieves zero default in respecting BNPP CIB internal policies & procedures and external obligations. This program aims at ensuring that CIB controls regulatory objectives are met within “Respect Limits” program, that CIB wide Permanent Control and Group policy impact are properly coordinated and guided, that CIB implication in Supervisory Affairs is properly monitored and acted and that Transversal program are fully reviewed in the light of permanent control and protection of the bank.
CIB PROTECT & CONDUCT is a central CIB team with strong coordination with Group and CIB domains. The team is an integrated transversal Chief Conduct & Control Officer team (CCCO) to serve CCCOS and protect CIB on all Non-Financial Risks such as Operational, Regulatory and Conduct risks.
Our main missions are:
Act as a shield for CIB Non-financial Risk Framework
Mutualizing transversal missions for CCCOs
Coordinating transversally CCCOs Risk Management Framework
Servicing globally the CCCO organization
Delivering Transversal CCCO projects
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The CIB Protect & Conduct Reporting Officer will actively take part and support the CIB Protect & Conduct on shore team in the following key activities, but not limited to:
Reporting: Produce weekly, monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly dashboards on Recommendations, Credit, Country Policy, Historical/Potential incidents, Group Procedures digests… Manage the mandatory e-Learning process, reporting and chasing for CIB.
Stakeholders Management: Act as a representative of CIB PROTECT & CONDUCT towards the LOD1 community. Send dashboards, monthly submission rates, collect monthly data from OPCs, maintain and animate CIB PROTECT & CONDUCT SharePoint.
Data Quality: Maintain CIB PROTECT & CONDUCT mapping table up to date, reconcile data with Group RISK and escalate inconsistencies, ensure correct allocation of new IN recommendations…
Internal Clients requests: Manage assigned internal clients requests and ensure a timely response, contribute to steerco preparations
Procedures management: Contribute, write and maintain up to date all Standard Operational procedures/guidelines.
Projects: Contribute / Assist onshore teams in delivering the projects, in process automation, simplification…
Governances: Contribute to the preparation of the Steering Committees, Exco, OpCo
- Master’s degree in Banking, Finance
- Proficient with MS Office, especially with EXCEL mandatory; VBA skills is a plus
- Fluency in English – both verbal and written – is mandatory; French is a plus
- Strong communication skills up to senior management level
- Capacity to summarize
- Team player with high ethics
- Highly organized and ability for multi-task
- Attention to details
- Rigorous, autonomous with strong interpersonal skills
- Fast learner
