Recently BNP Paribas established a European finance operations centre in Lisbon, with 235 positions, and part of the Group Finance function. Group Finance Services (“GFS”) is responsible for compiling and processing accounting and financial information in order to ensure the publication of financial information and to provide Executive Management with the necessary information for the entire Group’s financial management. It is also responsible for the design, deployment and evolution of financial information systems.

Within the Group Finance Services, Transformation team is responsible to support the management of the center and run projects that impact the organisation, namely the integration of new activities. Within the Transformation team, you support the management in the organization, collect and structure data into reports and dashboards, lead projects and contribute to further build-up of Group Finances Services. We are looking for someone who is passionate about organisation, has initiative and autonomy, and is able to adapt to the needs and priorities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Active player in the integration of new activities and projects;
  • Contribute in the implementation of the target organisation and internal processes;
  • Support the development of transformation initiatives within Group Finance Services;
  • Create and maintain management dashboards (KPI and others reporting);
  • Verify and monitor that key areas/documents are updated and in line with the applied processes
  • Lead local initiatives via projects with all people involved (definition and follow-up of the plan, actions and resources…)
  • Contribute to transversal support activities of Group Finance Services
  • Contribute to "Role & Responsibility" RaDAR program by appliying Quality & integrity criteria to his/her perimeter/scope of responsibility.

SKILLS

 

  • Bachelors degree in  Finance or Business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience in Project Management and/or Consulting is a plus
  • English (C1)
  • French is a plus
  • Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude, autonomy
  • Strong organizational skils
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work with international locations
  • Strong team spirit
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and to respect priorities
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken & written)
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
