BNP Paribas is recruiting for its European Finance Operations Center in Lisbon, part of the Group Finance function. Group Finance is responsible for compiling and processing accounting and financial information in order to ensure its publication and to provide Executive Management with the necessary information for the entire Group’s financial management.

Within the Group Finance Services, Transformation team is responsible to support the management of the center and run projects that impact the organization, namely the integration of new activities. A Trainee function is available to support the management in the build-up of GFS and contribute in the implementation of projects. We are looking for someone who is passionate about organization, has initiative and autonomy, and is able to adapt to the needs and priorities.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the implementation of the new projects in the organization
  • Support the implementation of the new internal processes
  • Partner with Project Managers to support the development of GFS organisation
  • Verify and monitor that the documentation is updated and in line with the applied processes
  • Collect and present data needed to manage consolidated dashboards (KPI and others reporting)
  • Support local initiatives via projects with all people involved (definition and follow-up of the plan, actions and resources…)
  • Contribute to transversal support activities of GFS
  • Contribute to "Role & Responsibility" RaDAR program by applying Quality & integrity criteria to his/her perimeter/scope of responsibility

PROFILE

  • Bachelor degree in  Finance or Business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluent in English (B2 Level, CECRL certificate)
  • French is a plus
  • Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude, autonomy
  • Organizational skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work with international locations
  • Strong team spirit
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and to respect priorities
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken & written)
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
