The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines: a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global  custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.

For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation center in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion in BNP Paribas’ operational scope in Poland.

Project Manager for DFS

Responsibilities:

  • Close coordination with DFS Team Leaders, Managers and Head of DFS to ensure successful implementation of the local projects such as:
    • EUC registry
    • Kaizen log
    • Productivity Tool - Continued development
    • Capacity Modelling
    • Risk-related: control plan, GCP, RCSA, etc
    • Ad Hoc – as requested by Head of DFS
  • Coordinate, act as SPOC, follow-up, share knowledge for all tasks connected with outsourcing policy, process transition and process migration.
  • Coordinate all ACE related initiatives and ensure that there is a productivity savings of 3-5% yearly by:
    • Acting as project leader for ACE Navigators team
    • Lead and record monthly ACE meetings
    • Schedule action plans for ongoing and future initiatives
    • Managing resources (ppl, skills...)
    • Act as administrator for all Keizens,
    • Running main ACE projects as project leader (Credit ratings, AMC tool implementation)
    • Mentor ACE Navigators and staff nominated for project career path (in co-op with TLs and
    • managers)
    • Acquire full knowledge of the departments process via cross training in the various operation teams
  • Take part in global projects by providing:
    • Specific knowledge
    • Coordination of feedback collection locally for DFS in IOC
    • Resources activation of SMEs
  • This relates especially for large projects like Innova implementation, WW review project, collaboration with COO Office, etc
  • Encourage high work ethics, corporate values and BNP Paribas Securities Services culture amongst newcomers;
  • Coordination of IT tests and system changes processes in DFS;
  • Networking and liaising with all DFS teams and local IOC support to ensure a smooth and timely implementation of projects;
  • Looking for possible risks and proposing how to address it in timely manner to ensure smooth and undisturbed implementation process;
  • Reporting progress of work to the senior management (weekly status reports to senior management to track overall progress of projects; risk plan, etc);

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of roles and functional relations between parties and entities involved in fund investment process on the European market and EU regulations for fund industry;
  • Excellent communication skills and a very high level of organization and goal-oriented attitude in work;
  • Project Management related experience ideally in large fund industry environment or previous experience in similar role in SSC will be desirable;
  • Project Management skills - certifications would be an asset (Prince2 / PMP);
  • Prior exposure to both internal and external management stakeholders is an important asset;
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks or projects and balance workload effectively;
  • Strong drive towards achieving business goals and problem solving skills;
  • Adaptability and ability to maintain motivation in a changing environment;
  • Ability to apply and encourage BNP Paribas Securities Services corporate values at work
  • Positive attitude and flexibility;
  • University degree (Finance, Economics, Management);
  • Fluency in English as working language (ability to manage meeting and presentations);
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (profound knowledge of Excel, Visio & Power Point);
