Junior Project Management Officer for Global Banking Portugal

The team allows the acceleration and supports the development, the projects and the governance of Global Banking in Portugal, working for the head of Global Banking and the managers of the various teams (Credit Analyses Services, Global Banking Execution, European Corporate Hub, Corporate Deposit Line, and Lisbon Business Analytics).


  • Support and act as Project manager to specific projects: Several teams have a number of specific initiatives to be studied, coordinated, and implemented. These projects may translate in strong and accelerated growth of teams, new activities or transformation of way of doing business

  • Support various actions of the managers:

  • Recruitment process and on boarding of new comers (IT systems for instance)

  • Contribute to set up of procedures, Service Level Agreements, Global control plan, new tools, etc.

  • Single Point Of Contact for data (updates, migration…)

  • Coordinate answers to Compliance, Conduct, Audit, etc.

  • Support various transversal Global Banking projects or initiatives, for instance:

  • Rotations programs, training programs of the different teams

  • Improve communication to countries/ beneficiaries

  • Benchmark tools of other Competencies Centers in Portugal or elsewhere

  • Build, maintain and improve operational dashboards

  • Coordinate digital initiatives across GB

  • Build, reconcile, keep track and analyse budgets, forecasts, plans

  • Create and animate communication tools inside Global Banking (announcements of people joining, news of the teams, manage and analyse Team barometers, etc.)

  • Assist to create presentations and marketing materials (for presentation of the teams, to the teams, marketing to students, public speeches, Town halls, LinkedIn posts…)

  • Follow and organize Conduct initiatives

  • Answer questions from various stakeholders (Head Office, beneficiaries)


  • Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus

  • Up to two years of experience

  • Experience of project management is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong team player

  • Good analytical skills; meticulous and methodical

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Proactive

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
