About the role

In this role you will use your substantial knowledge as a product and/or proposition professional to enhance and develop specific products and propositions in our portfolio. You will take full ownership and accountability for the performance of your products and propositions including P&L delivery.  You will use insight to understand customer needs and to inform your improvement and development plans, thinking about the overall customer proposition not just the product.  You will also ensure you have a clear strategy and annual action plans in place that underpin how you’re going to achieve success for your product and proposition line.  You’ll need to sell your vision and gain buy-in and commitment from across the organisation (Sales, Marketing, Digital etc) to help you deliver results.

About you

To be successful in this job you will already have been truly successful in a like for like Product and/or Proposition Manager role and therefore have experienced what’s described above. What is really important to us is that you have B2B and B2C experience and have the gravitas and superb influencing skills amongst internal and external stakeholders to really make a difference. We need someone who can take ownership and in effect be a ‘mini MD’ for their product and proposition line.

Lastly, you will need to be digitally and tech savvy and also have experience of working in a diverse company with international colleagues and understand the challenges this can provide. A background in leasing, automotive or financial services would be advantageous but string candidates from other industry sectors might also be considered.
