Oversight Officer (M/F)
Permanent Contract
Mission:
There is an increased regulatory focus within Luxembourg on the oversight
of delegated regulated activities. This is not limited to delegations to third
parties but also requires to ensure a tight control framework in place for the
governance and oversight of intra-group outsourcing arrangements.
Key Responsibilities & Expected
result area:
- Develop and maintain oversight and control
frameworks over all operational aspects of the Funds,
- Review the oversight and control frameworks,
understand the process and analyse outputs to ensure adherence to policy
and procedure,
- Review consolidation: monthly/quarterly NAV review as part of the
oversight of regulated fund structures (all asset classes as relevant),
- Review financial accounts according to the Luxemburg accounting
rules and/or IFRS,
- Keep track of and follow-up on incidents linked to Central
Administration,
- Assess the remediation measures suggested by the Central
Administrator,
- Review ISAE/SOC reports and other relevant documentation provided
by external parties,
- Monitor KPI/SLAs, reporting on incident review,
- Ensure regulatory compliance across operational areas including FA
(Fund Accounting) and TA (Transfer Agency),
- Support the manager of oversight team in ensuring that all
activities conducted are closely coordinated with all relevant
stakeholders,
- Support client account manager during client meetings where
appropriate,
- Participate in due diligence reviews of service providers,
- Assist establish and maintain processes, procedures and workflows.
Your
Profile:
Education:
University
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics and relevant professional experience
within the Funds industry in Luxembourg ( knowledge of regulatory environment
in private equity & real estate)
Professional
Experience:
3 to 5 years
of relevant experience in the fields of internal control, external audit of
consolidations or in consolidation (IFRS
and LuxGaap)
