Operational Risk & Permanent Control Analyst - M/F

Our Risk & Governance Department is currently seeking an Operational Risk & Permanent Control Analyst M/F – fluent in English.

 

The ideal profile must have a strong previous working experience in a function related to internal control & Risk Management. High level of analytical & Organizational skills is also necessary.

Main Functions:

 

Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the local Operational Risk and Permanent Control framework, including:

 Corporate framework: Transpose locally the Group requirements in Permanent Control framework and Operational Risk Management.

Incidents: Analysis, follow-up, formulation of risk mitigation action proposals, performance of cross-checks.

Policies & Procedures: identification of key processes, contribution to their formalization and implementation, control and follow-up.

Risk Mapping: Risk identification, assessment, formalization, reporting, action plans proposals, redaction of Risk Acceptance Forms.

Generic Control Plan: follow-up the performance of generic BNP Paribas Cardif controls and associated action plans.

Local Control Plan: Implement local controls based on the risk analysis of local processes and follow-up the action plans.

Risk Analysis for Projects Implementation: projects analysis and risk opinions and recommendations formulation.

External recommendations: Follow-up of recommendations coming from Inspection Générale, External Audit, Regulator.
 
Governance pillars: Contribute to the management of Contracts and SLAs, risk assessment of providers, follow-up of the Committees framework.
 
Indicators: Build quantitative metrics and KPIs to measure and communicate on risk mitigation & risk reduction by area, process etc.
 
Best Practices Sharing: Promote best practices sharing between the teams.

Reporting: Communicate with BNP Paribas Cardif Corporate and with BNP Paribas Portugal Territory. Contribution /Participation to Committees.

Local Committees: Perform the Quarterly & Bi-yearly local Committees on Permanent Control and Risk.
 
Awareness: Perform information & awareness to staff.


Qualifications

  • Degree in one of the following areas preferably: Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Audit, Risk Analysis, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Control, …
  • Previous working experience, ideally in a function related to Internal Control and Risk Management.

  • Fluency in English – Portuguese in appreciated, French is a plus.
