About the role (based in Sale or Swindon)

This role reports to the Legal Director and will see you partnering with our Commercial Director and Marketing & Product Director.  You will act as the primary legal contact, for our retail business and on regulated products, working closely with these teams as well as areas such as compliance and customer experience, providing proactive advice and support while managing the legal risk.

This role will include drafting standard contracts, advising on product development, advising on customer communications and providing legal support on new initiatives and when issues arise. The role is varied and as a member of a small legal team you will also work with the other lawyers in the team and the wider business on diverse matters such as data protection, competition and risk management.  You will benefit from being part of the wider BNP Paribas legal function, allowing you to take advantage of the knowledge and experience of lawyers in Paris and London, and in other BNP Paribas companies in the UK.
