Junior Sales Manager (m/f/d)

   

As a Junior Sales Manager, you will use your consultative sales approach to define priorities, identify customer needs and propose our IT equipment fleet management services solutions.

 

 

Your key activities:

 
  • proactively prospect through various routes to the market (direct and indirect) and meet new accounts, source and develop new business through direct contacts and via vendor relationships
  • achieve agreed sales targets in terms of volume and gross margin
  • drive your sales territory, identify key targets and prioritize prospects using a range of business development skills
  • execute the agreed sales strategy for the business
  • identify new business opportunities in existing collaborations with customers
  • support and facilitate expansion of existing international accounts to other geographies
  • demonstrate BNP Paribas 3 Step IT’s services and concept to customers / partners / key stakeholders
  • research, develop and present customized sales proposals; negotiate contract terms, prices and services
  • work with the Business Development Manager and report to the 3 Step IT Country Sales Manager
  • develop relations with top decision makers and seek to strengthen customer relationship and maximize share of wallet, utilize CRM to manage activity, contact strategy and relationships
  • ongoing contact with customers and internal teams to solve problems, answer questions and create added value maintaining a high level of satisfaction
  • travel across geographies of a specified region to meet with prospects and customers when required

 

 

Your qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor‘s degree in business, financing or sales related field
  • up to 5 years experience in sales position preferably in financial institutions, consulting, and IT equipment market
  • ideally first experience within the Operational Leasing Industry as well as experience from working with international customers
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English language
  • good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • good at planning, organizing and coordinating
  • excellent selling, positioning and negotiation skills as well as customer focus (developing effective and professional relationships)
  • understanding of the key aspects of business (e.g. business models, competitive positioning)
  • financial understanding to identify how financial decisions impact business success; ability to read balance sheets
  • excellent technical knowledge of IT service model, pricing and sales process
