ITG - Desktop Release engineer BNP Paribas (#MITP)

ITGP Digital Working

ITGP Digital Working is responsible to provide IT Services to our clients ensuring a Digital Market evolution, in a secured and performant environment, and with a reliable quality. This function includes Infrastructures (Active Directory, Messaging, Instant Messaging, Desktop ...) as well as elements of the Global Services organization.

As part of the ITGP Digital Working Division, the domain SCCM Factory is responsible of the SCCM architecture, the deployment of the core applications and the packaging operations on the desktops operate by ITGP.

The deployment team is responsible for the maintenance, deployments and operations of SCCM CB including environment patching, corporate build maintenance, Global Distribution Point creation/ maintenance, distribution and application packaging…

• SCCM Servers CB Monitoring, Production Operations and Health Check
• Responsible for configuration, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of OS build process for endpoints including laptops, desktops and virtual clients before escalation to L3 Teams
• Responsible  for  automation,  advertisement  and  deployment  software  applications  into  SCCM application framework
• Create and update global documentation and document relevant systems
• SCCM Server distribution monitoring
• SCCM Distribution Points creation and content update
• Investigating ongoing problems and providing root cause analysis for both performance and stability issues on SCCM CB and escalation to L3 teams
• Other duties as assigned by L3 SCCM Infrastructure team
• Perform an assessment of Security Patching to determine priority and scope of deployment
• Identify high impact of Security Patches or stack 1 applications that require pre-deployment testing and pilot phases
• Engage with Service Desk and other L2 teams if an update is considered to affect the production population
• Validation of all deployment, including security patching
• Communicate to Support teams and Business of any issues with SCCM infrastructure
• Responsible for Windows 10 upgrade deployment
• Create and update internal documentation (processes, technical…)
• Remediation of Security Patching Other responsibilities:
• SCCM CB Global support on some cases
• SCCM CB Global boundaries Change Management

• Windows 10 Operating system configuration and support
• SCCM CB strong knowledge – evidence may be asked

• Manage integrations with other toolsets such as ITSM, Software Asset Management and Vulnerability Management
• Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Use technical expertise in Windows and SCCM as well as other enterprise applications to identify processes that are currently being done manually and find a way to automate
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar environment. Multinational + 10000 users at least.
• ITIL Foundation knowledge
• Fluent in English (read/write/speak) –
