Position Purpose

  • Pre /post support and processing for trades done by Investment Counsellor(“IC”)
  • Investment support for ICs portfolio proposals/reviews
  • Administrative support for ICs for matters related to client relationship management


Execution and Trade Support

  • Able to receive and execute orders and instructions directly from clients
  • Able to quote indicative prices for certain product types
  • Able to execute and process trades done by ICs which includes but not limited to record keeping, voice logs, credit checks, funding instructions, suitability and call reports.
  • Prepare documentations for client portfolio proposals, reviews and valuations
  • An expert in the order taking process such that trades comply with the Bank’s investment and suitability framework.
  • Strong understanding of the trade workflow – front to back – in terms of process, steps and systems

Investment Support

  • Appropriate understanding of client portfolio, background and investment needs
  • Appropriate understanding of investment products and services
  • Appropriate understanding of bank’s suitability and order taking framework
  • Comply with regulatory requirements. Most importantly, to observe FAA and SFA requirements in the discharge of duty as ICA and as an employee of the Bank.
  • Senior ICAs to be able and willing to train and impart knowledge to others such that team members have sufficient level of awareness of procedures and controls.

Administrative Support

  • Able to handle clients and internal staff in a professional manner
  • Able to handle administrative queries
  • Coordinate / organize clients meetings/interaction with ICs


  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate with clients and internal staff.
  • A team player with self-initiative and able to work as a group.
  • Detailed oriented and strong administrative skills to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Able to perform under pressure and manage confidential information
  • An expert in Microsoft Office. An advantage if skills include VBA Coding
  • Proficient in Bloomberg
  • Multi-language skills is preferred for greater flexibility in supporting a wide base of clients. An advantage if language expertise include translation skills
  • University degree with minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in finance and banking industry
  • Must fulfill the fit and proper criteria of relevant regulators
