Institutional Fund Raising & Investor Relations Manager

You would be part of BNPP Real Estate Investment Management Pan-European Sales and Investor Relations Department, currently regrouping six senior professionals (3 based in Paris, including Head of; 2 in Germany and 1 in Italy), in charge of raising equity for all REIM’s Institutional initiatives.

Missions

  • Managing institutional sales (capital raising and investor relations)

  • Supporting the launch and definition of new funds

  • Managing relations with placement agents/advisors

  • Monitoring investors’ investments and report on activity 

  • Having a compliance mind-set in all day-to-day activities 

Main Activities

  • In charge of the capital raising for institutional clients for all REIM products and services
  • Identifying, approaching and on-boarding of investors as well as creating touch points to these investors in coordination with Fund Management, Mandate Management and Client Services;     
  • Organising first round meetings with identified targets as well as identifying any other targets with any other channel;
  • Conducting Q&A sessions together with Fund Management, Mandate Management, Product Development as well as Marketing and Communication;
  • Preparing and conduction investor due diligence questionnaires (including KYC) in coordination with Fund Management, Mandate Management, Product Development as well as Marketing and Communication
  • Acting as the key point of contact for institutional investors of your coverage zone;

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction;

  • Ensuring the fund raising of the investment programmes and achieving the target figures set;

  • Building and maintaining a client prospect pipeline.

  •  Supporting the launch and definition of new initiatives

  • Triggering the NAC Checklist and approval process in case the target distribution market is considered as a new activity;

  • Assessing potential market entry;

  • Pre-testing of target markets;

  • Participating in the development of the range of products and services (pre-testing and testing of products at the customer’s premises, collection of option needs, proposals for improving the package);

  • Ensuring tax and regulatory requirements for cross-border distribution are sufficiently addressed in coordination with Product Development, Legal and Tax;

  • Defining the strategy for raising funds from institutional investors and implementing it within the Sales team (funds, mandates, club deals, etc.).

  • Managing relations with placement agents/advisors

  • Contracting external placement agents/advisors, where necessary;

  • Performing delegation oversight and on-going monitoring on the placement agents/advisors.

  •  Monitoring investors’ investments and reporting on activity:

  • Monitoring activity and reporting to management;

  • Monitoring BNPP REIM inflows and commercial reporting; 
  • Reviewing the account plan on a yearly basis.
  • Having a compliance mind-set in all day-to-day activities
  • Ensuring the monitoring of compliance and operational risks of his activity;
  • Enhancing awareness among his teams regarding the importance of Compliance matters in general and adopting Compliance reflexes in their day-to-day activities;

  • Supervising the management of potential conflicts of interest with investors and reporting those appropriately;

  • Ensuring that his teams attend Compliance training as a priority;

  • Reviewing the account plan on a yearly basis.

  • Having a compliance mind-set in all day-to-day activities

  • Ensuring the monitoring of compliance and operational risks of his activity;

  • Enhancing awareness among his teams regarding the importance of Compliance matters in general and adopting Compliance reflexes in their day-to-day activities;
