About Business line/Function:

FRESH is a unique set-up, created in 2020, bringing together a community of 1300 experts from Finance, Risk and IT backgrounds. FRESH is part of the IT GROUP organization with a threefold sponsorship by IT GROUP, FINANCE and RISK. FRESH aims at accelerating delivery, on the strength of a lively and passionate community boosted by innovation, in terms of technology, methodology, organization and management.

Position Purpose

The role is of a technical lead responsible for managing the ISPL Exchange Layer application team (DEV) in close coordination with ISPL project manager. The technical lead will provide expert support, resolve issues, establish work processes, involve in technical reviews and help development team in design decisions & guide the team members in technical matters. Position will be based in India as part of a global team spread across India and UK. Application technologies involved are primarily Informatica PowerCenter and Sybase ASE.

The ideal candidate will have 8- 10 years of Application Development and M&E experience.  The candidate must have prior experience of working as a part of large Development team.


Direct Responsibilities

·         Delivery of projects & activities for Exchange Layer team, in an extended mode

·         Work closely in a “one team” approach with all stakeholders during all phases of the SDLC, jointly providing high quality deliverables

·         Engage clients to identify operational objectives & oversight

·         Establish processes, work practices to achieve objectives and ensure delivery

·         Review activities & work performed by team members

·         Mentor and technically guide the team members

·         Evaluate, establish & execute controls on the functional & technical processes

·         Team development –skill evaluation, development, training & coaching

·         Management reporting, governance & analysis in absence of Project Manager.

·         Continuous improvement, scope expansion, refinement

·         Anticipate changes to business processes and demands from stakeholders and events

·         Assess, develop options & execute action plans to continue delivery meeting the evolving changes and demands

·         Intervene in an expert or crisis mode to address situations, issues and roadblocks
