The Incentives and Recognition Program Manager is responsible for the development, management and oversight of best in class retail branch based incentive plans. This is a visible role within the organization, presenting plans to leadership and end users. This position includes preparing and reviewing analytics for senior leadership as well as compliance review The person chosen for this role will also be responsible for management of all retail banking recognition programs including the development of relevant metrics for senior management, coordination of communications and selections with various business and support teams and ensure common and consistent execution of programs across the footprint.
Understands market dynamics and performance trends to ensure compliance plans are relevant/attractive to current employees and recruits while remaining compliant to federal and internal standards.
Collaborates with retail leadership to ensure branch based incentive plans are aligned with strategic priorities
Partners with Human Resources, Incentives Team and Compensation to prepare plans and all edits for review
Leads Retail Banking Group efforts during compliance and audit approval process, ensuring plans meet Bank of the West criteria
Leads the team that provides data analytics and reporting on plan dynamics including plan construct forecasting, participation rates, effectiveness, and goal setting
Manages the Sales Outlier Review process. Creates and distributes outlier reports, leads review calls and prepares recap and analytics of outcomes. Shares overarching themes with leadership and team, and collaborates with partners to remediate potential issues that impact overall network performance
Communicates plans/plan updates nationally to branch leadership and branch teams. Creates and delivers training workshops for incumbents and new hires in conjunction with the Sales Development officers.
Partners with leadership in the selection of annual President’s Club and Circle of Excellence recognition recipients, owns the communication process for the Retail Branch Network; assists market leaders on coordination of events and budget management
- Articulates across all levels of the Bank, business goals and connect them to Human Resource capabilities to be delivered and a supporting program portfolio
- Demonstrated ability to partner across organizational lines in the selection, development and integration of business processes, applications and related software
- Adopts and executes Program Management standards, processes and governance across a broad program portfolio
Bachelors’ Degree or Equivalent work experience
