Leveraging on Lisbon HR teams, BNP Paribas Porto HR Manager will provide consultation to management and employees on a broad scope of HR topics covering, employee onboarding, career management & internal mobility, training & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits administration, employee safety, welfare, wellness and health in liaison with Facilities Management teams.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
BNP Paribas Porto HR Manager will take an active role in developing a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance to BNP Paribas Strategy in compliance with the Portugal HR strategy defined by Lisbon HR teams.
The BNP Paribas Porto HR Manager will be the relay of the HR managers based in Lisbon for the implementation of HR policies, procedures and new tools. He/she will be in charge of the day-to-day management and the reporting of issues regarding new employee orientation, onboarding and all the related administrative tasks, safety of the workforce, employee labor relationship and any other human resources matters.
In addition, BNP Paribas Porto HR Manager will monitor performance management, talent management, career management, succession planning and effective training of the workforce based in Porto under his/her jurisdiction.
BNP Paribas Porto HR Manager will also ensure compliance to local laws and BNP Paribas Code of Conduct and will advise department managers based in Porto on legal implications of HR issues related to discipline and employee grievances.
With the expected growth of Porto platform, this role will progressively evolve from an administrative HR oriented position towards a more HRBP / HR manager role.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources related field or organization psychology required
8+ years’ experience in human resources department
Portuguese and English speaker
Dynamic and proactive
Good level of autonomy
Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills
Ability to deal with pressure and deadlines
