Role Description and purpose

The role-holder works closely with the Global Head of Investments on the day-to-day management of the Investment platform and on specific projects with the aim to continuously drive efficiency and performance of the Investment platform.

key responsibilities

·         Supervise/coordinate the investment transformation programme ensuring that effective governance is in place

·         Ensure consistency of practices across the investment platform

·         Ensure adequate processes are in place for :

o    Commercial forecasts on a monthly basis

o    Provision of management reporting (Dashboards & KPIs)

o    Budget (revenues and costs)

·         Act as first point of contact for basic operational issues, escalating to relevant functions as necessary 

·         Represent the Global Head of Investments in specific meetings/committees as required

·         Preparation of presentations and communication to the BNPP AM ExCo, relevant internal stakeholders and committees as well as for external use

·         Plan and manage regular committees (e.g. Investment ManCo)

·         Lead or supervise relevant transversal/transformation projects ensuring effective and timely implementation

·         Support business heads with specific projects ensuring that the business is involved in key projects

·         Act as a gateway for engagement or collaboration with the other departments across BNPP AM, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships

·         Extensive industry knowledge

·         A proven leader as well as an expert investment professional

·         This highly accomplished professional will thrive on all the challenges associated in developing a growing business

·         Working for and leading within an asset management organisation, the ideal candidate should possess significant and successful experience in a similar complex role

·         The candidate should have a record of developing and maintaining excellent professional relationships

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. A persuasive, professional manner is expected. A balanced approach to building consensus is sought, our culture doesn't fit either conflict avoidance nor combative behaviour

Essential qualifications & experience

·         Degree level education or equivalent

·         Substantial experience in asset management across asset classes preferred

Specific other role requirements

·         Willingness to travel

·         Keen to learn.

·         Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken)

·         Excel/Word/PowerPoint: Advanced.
