Position Purpose

BNP Paribas Wealth Management Information Services (WMIS) is reinforcing its international IT Production Setup by creating an Integration & Production Support team in India .

Accordingly BNP Paribas Wealth Management is looking for a position to lead this team in Chennaï

This position encompass 3 main activities

-       Application Production (AP) dedicated to technical support of WMIS platforms (production and non production)

-       Application Support (AS) dedicated to functional support of WMIS application (production)

-       Integration (INT) dedicated to elaborate on application technical solutioning and manage the different environments (production and non production) required by WMIS application

Responsibilities

As Head of Integration & Production Support team

-       You are managing WM applicative integration and production support with high level of quality, accountability, efficiency, and ensure interoperability and consistency across WM Production platforms/locations

-       you are managing 3 multi-competency teams - encompassing functional and technical skills - and their respective manager, in an international environment where IT production is distributed between Asia and Europe

-       you have a double reporting line : a global one to the WM Chief Technology Officer and a local one to the WM Site Manager in India.

Your role  and objectives will include, but will not be limited to:

 Contribute to the definition, promotion and implementation of WMIS Production with consistency between

-       operations (Business As Usual) and transformation (Projects)

-       geographical locations

-       operational processes deployed

 Contribute actively from production perspective to the implementation of WMIS studio organization  and promote the transformation of the APS Metier
 

 Ensure WMIS production is actively contributing to Weath Management business objectives under a common operating model between all locations

 Manage and monitor operations in Production and provide IT Functional and Technical Support (Level 1 and Level 2) to the Business, under a common set of processes, tools and KPI

 Manage integrity, stability, robustness, continuity and security of the platforms supporting WMIS applications and business activities

 Work closely with other WM IT teams and the business representatives on the Digital Transformation trajectory encompassing the new DevOps toolchain

 Contribute to WMIS IT standard governance supporting decision-making process and trajectory follow-up

  Integrate new projects and applications evolution within WM Production setup in accordance

-       WM IT governance rules

-       group technical standards

-       group security requirements

 Manage the relationship with WM Development teams as well as Infrastructure providers

 Implements the IT Policy in line with Group standards and ensures the respect of IT security policies and securities duties on WM applications

A strong expertise on banking production environments is required for this position as well as a good practice of ITIL processes and IT production teams management

This job requires a susceptibility on technical topics as well as functional topics, and a strong involvement for a high-quality production and service delivery

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

 

 

·         Significant hands-on experience with banking technical ecosystems and application integration

·         End user services and production delivery quality oriented, you are well organized and structured

·         Strong technical  knowledge of banking technical ecosystems including Linux, Unix, Windows platforms as well as middleware connectivity (MQ, sFTP, or equivalent), Databases, applications servers (Tomcat, Websphere …), batch chains scheduler (like Autosys or equivalent)

·         Ability to work in an international environments including frequent links with European teams

·         Good communication skills and ability to coordinate activities between WM Technical teams, WM Development teams and Infrastructure Providers

·         Familiar with ITIL standards (change, incident, problem, configuration management processes)

Good to have / appreciate

 

·         Knowledge or experience in deployment/usage of a DevOps toolchain 

·         Knowledge or experience in application containerization (like Docker)

·         Familiar with agile methodologies (Sprints, Scrum, Kanban)
