This department is looking for a Support Front-Office within BNP Paribas Securities Services Business Unit (BP2S) in Lisbon, responsible for handling and coordinating clients’ requests, performing clients follow-up and service review and monitoring reporting related to MFS Outsourced Dealing activities.


  • Client relationship coordination
    • Be the single point of contact for any request from BP2S Paris Head Office (HO) and/or the Client regarding the transactions outsourced from BP2S Paris to Lisbon
    • Ensure the follow-up of any client and/or BP2S Paris HO request related to setup evolution and/or improvement validated and communicated by BP2S Paris HO at local level
    • Acquire and develop knowledge and expertise on financial products as well as market mechanisms and strategies in order to adequately manage clients requirement
    • Contribute to client service review preparation by gathering client request received and related progress status
    • Ensure the follow-up of any incidents recorded and action plans settled at local level under BP2S Paris HO oversight.
  • Operational Support
    • Assist BP2S Paris HO in reinforcing set of controls and procedures to improve process efficiency and reduce operational and non-compliance risk
    • Coordinate, under BP2S Paris HO oversight, clients on-boarding at local level by ensuring adequate IT parameters, client’s information availability, reporting setup with regard to client documentation
    • Monitor report generation and ensure its adequacy and exhaustiveness with the contribution of BP2S Lisbon Outsourced Dealers
    • Assist BP2S Paris HO by performing on a regular basis KPIs related to local transactions monitoring, globally and by client
    • Monitor and check client billing related to transactions outsourced from Paris to Lisbon
    • Assist BP2S Paris HO with Broker reviews and dealing performance measurement
    • Contribute, under BP2S Paris HO monitoring, to the 1st level of controls and ensure that significant issues detected are adequately escalated to the Management within BP2S Paris
  • Financial market knowledge on instruments such as Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income
  • Strong capacity to listen and understand constraints and problems of Buy-Side clients and Execution mechanisms
  • Ability to synthesise, document any potential issue identify and propose action plan to the management
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French mandatory. Fluency in Portuguese will be advantageous
  • Knowledge on financial products as well as associated mechanisms and strategies
  • Ability to manage client request and coordinate several stakeholders to resolve client demand in an acceptable time frame
  • Proactive, adaptability, enthusiastic, committed, ability to build relationships over time
