Within the Banking Operations Department, we assist our clients in completing the transactions they execute in the markets worldwide and we provide custody related services to the assets they deposit with us. We operate all asset classes – equities, bonds, mutual funds, investment funds, listed derivatives, OTC derivatives and cash – and provide them access to close to 100 markets worldwide. By perfectly mastering the local regulatory, tax and legal environment, we help our clients to overcome the complexities of the global capital markets.

 

    

 

ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES

 

 

  • Process client instructions by analysing, validating and implementing those instructions
  • Check and monitor failed instructions and provide the correct update
  • Detect and analyse errors or discrepancies and/or escalate them
  • Identify and advise on any exceptional or irregular situations, and put in place corrective measures in line with management validation
  • Manage internal systems by monitoring and following up on issues
  • Investigate and explore information by analysing the internal system information
  • Extract the relevant information from the system and perform the reconciliation
  • Verify documentation received and forward to relevant processing team (when applicable)
  • Confirm that the checklist tasks are done and updated in accordance with the client's specificities
  • Review the internal procedures database and market updates
  • Ensure that clients’ queries (internal and external) are dealt within a timely and adequate manner
  • Participate in activities or projects relating to business development
  • Manage all of the firm positions through the lifecycle of dividend on multiple products including equities and fixed income
  • Monitor and maintain the firm dividend general ledger accounts and the effective processing of all dividends related functions
  • Requires a diverse background in processing domestic and international dividends, along with a background in principal and interest
  • Responsible for managing and controlling high levels of risk and liability inherent in the various functions
  • Update information into corporate actions platform for mandatory offers and release payment client notices
  • Scrubbing announcements from market data vendors, company information, depositories and agents
  • Input/update information into corporate actions platform for voluntary and mandatory offers
  • Responsible for processing class actions, bankruptcies, proxies and prospectus fulfilment.
  • Balancing and reconciling positions related to corporate actions activity
  • Responsible for managing and controlling high levels of risk and liability inherent in the various functions
  • Multi-tasking and interact with different client bases simultaneously

 

 

PROFILE

      

  • Academic Degree (mandatory);
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • Interest in Financial Markets;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel and PowerPoint
  • Positive attitude, Organizational commitment, Team work
  • Ability to work under pressure and dynamic, evolving environment
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Available to work from 13:00 - 15:30 to 22:00 - 23:59
