Custody & clearing services offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland and other markets.


 


Expert – Ownership Verification in OTC Derivatives Middle Office

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage all project/expert related tasks across the full system life cycle. This includes the effective project management of but not limited to analysis, initiation, planning, execution, control and monitoring and closure tasks of Ownership Verification.

  • Status Tracking and reporting, Issue Management (including workshops when required), Managing actions, Dependency Management, chairing/attending Governance meetings and when required escalation to Senior Management.

  • Maintain all Ownership Verification documentation to required internal standards.

  • Acting as a Champion and as an Example in terms of promoting and abiding by our Ownership Verification approach, principles and methodology.

  • Supporting the executing associated Change Management tasks related to the portfolio, sub portfolio of projects or change initiatives from operational perspective.

  • Effective implementations control and Risk management.

  • Where required be a subject matter expert for project team members and the ability to perform varying levels of business analysis when required to do so.

  • Participation and representation of Ownership Verification at regular service review meetings.

  • Effective implementations risk management.

  • Work with teams across multiple locations.

  • Investigating discrepancies with teams across BNP Paribas group.

  • Contacting internal clients in case of issues.

  • Understanding the risk linked to the business activity, and suggesting improvements to existing processes and practices.

  • Participating in training process of new employees, acting to and supporting the team as a subject matter expert to resolve complex and rare reconciliation cases

  • Fostering innovation and efficiency

  • Actively participating and helping in organizing team meetings

  • Maintaining effective relationship with internal and external clients


 

Requirements:

  • Fluent English speaking & writing

  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills

  • Strong attention to details

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • OTC Derivatives product knowledge

  • Reasoning skills

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines is essential

  • Good understanding of Middle Office functions including Affirmation/Confirmation, trade reconciliations & counterparty’s process 

  • Collaborative approach and good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to drive a solution through to completion

  • Team player

  • Ability to manage a team, good leadership ability and ability to build a team
