Environmental Business Analyst Trainee

CIB & Group CSR - Lisbon Branch is composed of 3 teams, working as extension of central teams both at CIB and Group level. The traineeship will happen within Group CSR operational perimeter.
While Group CSR is the team that dictates and coordinates the CSR Strategy for the entire BNP Paribas Group, the team in Lisbon is particularly involved in the annual campaign for environmental reporting being responsible for coordinate and ultimately consolidate all the data related to the Group’s direct environmental impacts.
The trainee will work in close collaboration with a senior environmental business analyst. The trainee will assist in the coordination of the different stages of the annual campaign for environmental reporting, including the campaign and the reporting period. After an initial period of intensive training, we expect the trainee to gain a significant level of autonomy, acting as point of contact for the different Group entities during the reporting period.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement the Group’s environmental data pre-campaign by updating the reporting tool guidelines, analysis scope and users list; and embarking campaign contributors and validators with dedicated kickoff session
Assist monitoring the Group’s environmental data campaign, ensuring deadlines and data quality and providing all contributors with a dedicated hotline to solve technical issues
Assist in the development of the Group’s environmental data report by consolidating data needed to fulfil legal requirements of the Group, and providing detailed feedback reports to Group entities with precise information on their annual environmental impacts and mitigation measures
Assist the coordination of the network of contributors and validators of the environmental data campaign
Act as point of contact with the Technical Consultants team for Enablon (VP&White) helpdesk for technical incidents with the reporting platform (Enablon)
Perform tests of update versions of the reporting platform
Assist the Environmental Campaign's Contributors/ Validators users community in Enablon use
Degree from a Scientific / Engineering, ideally complemented with a research project linked to Corporate Social Responsibility or Sustainable Development
Organisational skills / ability to work under tight deadlines
Autonomy and ability to take initiative
Fluent in English
Basic knowledge of French is required
IT Skills: fully computer literate including mastering (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Web browser) and knowledge of Enablon (or similar EHS reporting tool) would be a plus
