About Business line/Function :
The IFS IT Sydney Department supports all ANZ business areas through the cost-effective identification, prioritization, design, development and implementation of technology-based change, promoting standard architectures and services.
The IT team work closely with internal stakeholders including business stakeholders and other teams within IT (Service Delivery, Solutions Architecture team, Technical Architecture team, Environment Management team and Project Management Office).
Environment Support Analyst

- Environments: To manage (build, support, release, refresh, troubleshoot) the Sydney non-production environments.
Indicative Breakdown of Role
Technical infrastructure upgrade, review/ consultation and support (including 3rd party vendor upgrade)
o Adhere to deployment procedures define by Change Management Board and Team’s guideline
o Ensure Deployment package adhere to packaging standard s
o Reviewed and validate deployment packages rollback procedures
o Ensure only the requested deployment packages are deployed.
o Post deployment support - issues are escalated and communicated to stake holders. Review and troubleshoot deployment issues with Developers/ Analysts if required.
o Provide technical leadership and consultation for projects
o Accurate and timely reporting on progress status
o Contribute to the delivery of projects and change to budget and schedule, and to agreed criteria for success
o Meet the requirements of ISAE3402 and other audits, by ensuring compliance with the project methodology and with policies
o Ensure adherence to group policies and best practice with regards to IT Development, Security, Change and Quality across Development, Test, Production and BCP environments.
o Ensure proper segregation between non-prod and production environments
o Ensure the IT operational aspects are part of any solution
o Ensure software components that are developed, satisfy key architecture principles (eg reliability, robustness, scalability, modularity etc), and are in line with industry best-practices (where possible).
o Pro-active management of risks, issues and scope change
o Working to instill ownership, shared decision-making and seeks to improve quality, service and productivity
o Effective teamwork through collaboration, enabling the sharing of skills, experience and ideas

Ensure that all mandatory training (e.g. Financial / Compliance / Security) is completed on time.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
o 3+ year experience in a support role.
o Experience in a technology change management capacity, preferably in the Financial services industry
o 2 + year experience with Microsoft products such as
o SQL Administrations - Install and manage multiple SQL Server instances in a clustered environment, SQL replication, SQL Reporting and Analysis Services (ability to read and write TSQL )
o IIS administration
o Windows server administration
o Windows work station administration
o Microsoft Office Products
Experience in organisations using some/ most of the following:
o Active Directory services
o Windows clustering administration
o Web services
o IBM MQ
o Scripting languages - Powershell, visual basic, command shell
o Terminal Server/ Citrix or AppV Administration
o DevOps /Agile / Continuous Integration /TFS
