Job Description Summary

In this position you will be responsible for managing and developing an  administrative team, coordinating and executing complex Administrative, Operational and Financial projects and functions for the Mid West Regional Banking Group (RBG).

Duties may include preparing budgets, monitoring/analyzing financial results, monitoring division operational integrity, identifying/implementing change management and process improvement initiatives, creating business and tactical plans, coordinating special events, providing project management support and communicating with field staff, business partners and senior management. Serves as primary liaison to various business partners. Participates in Special Projects.

  • Interpret, and monitor the practices, policies and procedures of the region, ensuring they align with the RBG's goals, priorities and practices.
  • Coordinates budgeting activities for the Mid West RBG. May directly manage divisional finance and budget activities.
  • Oversees all operational and customer service activities for RBG, ensuring high quality of customer service, operational effectiveness, soundness and compliance with all bank and regulatory requirements.
  • Manages division-level programs and projects and ensures their on time and successful implementation.
  • Coordinates community and business functions/groups to ensure a positive image for the Bank.
  • Assists in preparation of short and long range plans.
  • Coordinates real estate and facilities projects for the division.

Additional duties include:

Review time and expenses, deliverables and workflow of business support of administrative team to ensure adequate client support and coverage plans for continuity in services.
Lead business support admin meetings and facilitate topics focused on learning, cross-training, team building, and sharing information and best practices.
Encourage, share and celebrate individual and team recognition, accomplishments and achievements.
Perform other duties assigned.

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is required.
  • 10+ years experience in administration in retail/consumer banking administration required.

Skills
  • Working knowledge of financial services products and services, with a focus on branch based products & services.
  • Strong people services leadership skills with focus on team building, career development and recognition.
  • Professional presence, positive attitude and exceptional client service skills.
  • Ability to build professional and respectful working relationships at all levels internal and/or external to the organization.
  • Agile and flexible with ability to demonstrate openness to new challenges, opportunities, continuous learning, and able to easily adapt and lead others through change.
  • Extensive administrative background with experience working on documents policies, procedures, reviewing for quality assurance and managing administrative projects and strategic initiatives. 
  • Excellent relationship building skills; positively influence others
  • Working knowledge of project management techniques and documentation
  • Complete knowledge of balance sheet and profit and loss and other financial statements
