Digital & Data Project Manager - Sustainable Finance

Within a context of strong acceleration of Sustainable topics, products and ecosystem and in line with the commitments of BNP Paribas towards Energy Transition and pledge to fight Climate Change, the Sustainable Finance / CIB CSR team is aiming at fostering the development of sustainable financing solutions at CIB level .

The Sustainable Finance team is a multi-locations (Paris, London and Lisbon) transversal team with a focus to:

  • Develop the Green / Sustainable Finance products for CIB (Green Bond Program for BNP Paribas, Sustainable loan…) in close coordination with Global Banking and Global Markets

  • Assist coverage and business lines to raise awareness, develop knowledge and expertise connected to CSR (support, events, training…)

  • Report on positive impact sectors, clients and transactions through a dedicated reporting tool

  • Liaise with the various entities, experts and workgroups internally and externally to keep abreast of the various developments and innovations


  • Propose meaningful project structure and governance, and manage key stakeholders

  • Provide method and expertise to frame and execute the project on time, on quality and on budget       

  • Implement from start to finish projects within the CIB Company Engagement perimeter, targeted at the implementation of data management strategies, in liaison with the CIB Engagement team as well as CSR Stakeholders (within CIB, at Group level, and from other Group Poles/Métiers)

  • Prepare regular project committees with relevant stakeholders

  • Develop and deliver data insights to clients i.e. extract, understand, transform and load data, using technical and data-driven strategies

  • Set up ad-hoc metrics and processes to address business needs

  • Propose and produce tailor made analysis addressing key business priorities


  • University degree graduate in Business Management or Engineering, specialization in environmental engineering, computational mathematics, statistics or information management is a plus

  • Experience of Project Management methodologies and tools (in particular Agile)

  • Able to take on the facilitator role, mobilizing project contributors with ease

  • Exposure to development of projects on Big Data, Business Intelligence, Statistical Analysis or similar; Exposure to Artificial Intelligence techniques and paradigms is a plus

  • Experience, interest or sensitivity for ESG data

  • A positive, proactive and energetic attitude to change and a desire to contribute to the team

  • Capable of delivering impactful presentations to the internal clients

  • Fluent in English (mandatory), French and/or Portuguese are a plus
