About the role
The DQUIP Officer is responsible for the protection, quality and integrity of our data across our UK business. Core responsibilities of this role are to ensure that remedial actions from data protection incidents are implemented in a timely and effective manner by working with the operational risk and control managers in all functions. They will report these actions to the Data Protection Officer and agree when data incidents can be closed following successful remedial actions. They will be a key member of data governance committees to ensure a consistent approach to data governance is implemented in the UK The DQUIP Officer will also be responsible for driving data quality initiatives set by the Group Data Governance team, by analysing, reporting and implementing corrective actions on our data. They will report to the Group Data Governance team in Paris, whilst also having a local reporting line in the UK.

To be successful in this role you will need a number of key skills and traits. These include the ability to build long lasting relationships up to senior stakeholder level as well as possessing superb communication skills so that you can deftly communicate technical information to non-technical users clearly and concisely. In addition you will need finely tuned influencing skills and be experienced working to tight deadlines and effective in planning and prioritising when under pressure.
It is expected that you will have excellent Microsoft Office skills that include Excel at Advanced and Word & PowerPoint at Intermediate levels and you will need to evidence strong analytical and data interrogation skills and have sound experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information.
