Data Management Officer


The position
The Data Management Officer is responsible for the coordination of data quality, integrity and protection. He/she uses data to deliver business insights and drives actions, is facilitating our regulatory reporting process and is supporting the use of business systems/applications. You are the driving spirit behind the process to turn data into information together with the diverse business teams. 

Key responsibility areas

Coordinating data quality, integrity and protection:

  • Performing data quality, integrity and protection controls in a continuous mode;
  • Applying a standardized and consistent approach for the management and the remediation of the data quality issues
  • Operational implementation of data quality and integrity policies and guidelines
  • Operational implementation of data protection

Using data to deliver business insights and drive actions:

  • Extracting and analyzing data to provide information that allows the business to better manage its activities and anticipate future needs
  • Defining KPIs to monitor performance and build dashboards

Supporting the use of business systems/applications:

  • Assisting employees using different IT applications
  • Assisting to configure systems according to business needs (update reference tables)
  • Support for database queries
  • Assisting to resolve issues regarding application/system functionality
  • Making the link between business and IT in the context of new business requirement/adaptation requests
  • User access management

Your talents

  • Bachelor degree
  • 2-4 years of working experience in data analysis or datamangement
  • Basic banking industry knowledge
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Data Analysis and KPI reporting knowledge
  • Advanced Excel and database management skills
  • Process & control minded
  • Experience with MS Visio and/or Business Objects
