About the role

In this role you will build multi-channel marketing strategies that support our product and commercial objectives by creating marketing plans focused on acquisition, lead generation, product promotion, upselling and cross-selling across all  channels. Working closely with the Marketing Delivery Manager you will agree the activity and budget requirements, whilst being the marketing business partner for key senior stakeholders in Sales and Product & Proposition as it’s important you understand the requirements of all the customer segments and routes to market and so reflect that insight in marketing activity. It’s really important to us that all commercial marketing plans and activity are designed to deliver good customer outcomes.

Lastly, you will play a proactive role in working with marketing colleagues in Corporate Centre and other country counterparts to share best practice and ensure topics important to the UK are prominent and supported.

About you

To be successful in this job you will already have been truly successful in marketing management with a strong track record achieving commercial targets and financial metrics. A naturally strong and confident communicator, you will be at ease dealing with senior colleagues and have experience of working in a diverse company with international colleagues and so understand the challenges this can provide. We will want you to explain how you have previously gained by-in utilising your influencing skills whilst articulating strategic and tactical plans.

It is also important that you can demonstrate a proven track record of putting customer insight at the heart of past work and how you have taken ownership for the results, stepping in where required.

Lastly, we want someone who is open-minded with a curious mind and brings ideas from the outside that can be built in to plans here with the ability to implement cross departmental change.

 

A background in leasing, automotive or financial services would be advantageous but strong candidates from other industry sectors might also be considered.
