Commercial Assistant/Analyst

BNP Paribas is the largest financial institution in the Eurozone. In the Czech Republic, we are present with more than 900 employees in corporate and institutional banking, consumer finance, car leasing, insurance, and real estate advisory and brokerage.

For our corporate client coverage in the Czech Republic, we are searching for an advanced business person to support Senior Relationship Managers and the Country Head. We offer a full time basis 2-year contract (V.I.E. – concluded with the French authorities- Business France, and BNP Paribas). The contract is reserved for the foreign, Czech/Slovak speaking candidates without Czech nationality or with double nationality (Czech plus one more nationality).


We are looking for a curious, engaging colleague with university degree in economics or finance, an interest in banking and the flexibility to handle a variety of tasks. We expect an understanding of business and finance, structured thinking, and a desire to deliver results. English language proficiency is required as we work in an international environment.

  • This position will develop your cross-functional and multi-business knowledge of the Group

  • You will be brought to:

    • Develop your skills in project management

    • Intervene on different topics: Customer Analysis, Communication, CSR, Customer Service

    • Build your network by working with different interlocutors within the company and externally: e.g. with the French Chamber of Commerce, with other BNPP entities like Hello Bank, Cardif etc.

  • You will reach a BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking branch located directly in the centre of Prague on Ovocny trh 8, Prague 1. We are a small team (35 people ) having very friendly relationships but working on a daily basis within an international and multicultural environment


Tasks will include, but are not limited to


  • Your main daily task will consist in  supporting our Relationship Managers with their work related to the credit process, e.g. to collect information about clients, to help them to obtain Pilot bankers approvals, to cooperate with our Client Service Desk

  • You will develop databases of the potential clients, follow acquisition activities

  • You will do a searching for potential clients

  • You will prepare analyses in order  to identify potential business

  • You will be asked to prepare industry analyses with a commercial target (marketing)

  • You will write branch presentations, BNPP….

  • We will ask you to help to organize client or employee events, especially in CSR domain

  • You will be requested to prepare promotion materials for BNPP CIB in the Czech Republic
