• GLO Head of Business and Sourcing Projects



The GLO NA team is responsible for

• liaising with Finance and external teams to Finance,

• managing the development and support of “LAP” (Finance’s general ledger and accounting system);

• delivering projects relating to LAP and/or  NA finance teams

•  with a requirement for good communication, coordination, analysis and project management skills

Typical projects include

• development of operational system interfaces across CIB products from trading and back office systems for new business,

• enhancing/configuring of LAP to support new reporting/legal/regulatory requirements and projects for operational efficiency.

The team work closely with IT and users in Finance, middle and back office, and other Finance and reporting systems teams



Improve the consistent standard of operational collaboration and organisation within the FCOO GLO NA project team

• Support GLO managers in developing their practices of portfolio management for a wide range of projects like Business (Global Markets, ALM Treasury,), Finance and Regulatory driven projects,

• Support the implementation of budget tracking methods by maximizing the use of Clarity tool,

• Rationalize/improve the tools used for capacity plan and propose new approaches enabling an active and dynamic portfolio delivery in line with budget statements,

• Implement new dashboard for presentation of the status of the portfolio in various project and steering committees,

• Complete the organisation of GLO sharepoint website for the NA platform, in conjunction with our partner GLO UK organisation,

• Educate the team and  new joiners on the required standard,

• Improve the project portfolio management process of the GLO platform,

• Define and implement leaner administration processes for GLO NA.


• Good systems skills, good understanding of IT databases (although programming skills are not required)

• Good with spreadsheets

• Good understanding of collborative IT tools – SharePoint, One Note, web pages, shared documents etc

• Good documentation skills

• Ability to work independently

• Commitment to project deadlines, sense of drive and urgency

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate and relate easily with IT, Finance users and back office managers; and who can align people to a common vision


• Some understanding of the products used by an Investment Bank
