Your Main Activities Are

  • Support operational manager to process improvements
    • Cartography E2E workflows
    • Monitor, improve & reduce manual processes (process reengineering)
    • Define standard vs non-standard process, challenge non-standard ones & design relevant control framework for the same
    • Define Business requirements for IT developments
    • Centralize & prioritize OPS IT requirements on platform used by the teams (supporting OPS sponsor)
    • Monitor efficiencies delivered across Global, Regions, Hubs and Territories
  • Entry point to the strategic organizational initiative,  new business & clients initiatives
    • Follow up / contribute on new business Activities (internal) - TAC NAC
    • Contribute to RFP (external new activities) & help in defining cost of service
    • Design Target Operating Model between Global, Regions, Hubs and Territories taking into account efficiency, capacity management and resilience
    • Contribute on transversal projects coordinated by Projects teams (Drive, P&C, IT…) esp. around IT architecture (system migrations)
  • Support the production monitoring and transversal activities
    • Global KPI/KRI analysis and risk identification in coordination with locations, business & other potential stakeholders. Challenge situation by identifying, designing and deploying missing KPI/KRI
    • Assess major incidents having impacts on the overall process and define / monitor related action plans
    • Contribute to various production reporting, meetings (OPS, business…) & SLA review
    • Contribute to OPS budget and ROFO monitoring (move up from below category)
    • Analyze business partner reviews related to Ops areas and responsible to identify gaps between client needs versus existing Ops set-up & processes
  • Monitor External environment
    • Inventory of the industry committees & associations, assess BNP contribution
    • Define impacts on Ops set-up & processes of new regulations

About the Team

  • FXMM OTCD operations department (stream 3) is part of the Processing & Support CIB ITO COCE organization (Client Operating Center of Excellence)
  • The department is responsible for the settlement and post settlement activities of all Foreign Exchange, Money Markets and OTC Derivatives transactions originated by Global Markets on a global basis (BNPP SA Paris and London booking entities) and by other business lines, namely ALMT, BP2S, BDDF and Personal Finance
  • The activities cover settlement of non-straight through processed transactions, investigation and incident management on payment flows, claims handling, and nostro / accounting control and reconciliation
  • Products covered: FX, Money Markets, OTCD Derivatives on EQD, Rates, Credit and Commodities
  • As part of our on-going transformation and industrialization, we are creating a Change and Design team and looking for experienced operational individuals to manage and execute requests for change impacting the department
