Develop and maintain IT systems at heart of “Know Your Customer (KYC)” ensuring due diligence, tax and regulatory compliance during the entire CIB client life cycle. Platform responsible for client onboarding, documentation, data distribution, capturing audit trails and being golden source.

Position Purpose

•     The role will provide Business Analysis (BA) in the area of Client Onboarding and Referential Domain (Know Your Client, Client Onboarding, Static Referential Data Management, etc)

•     Work closely with the Business and Global project teams.

•     Manage functional business requirements; coordinate with development teams, test & rollout of functionality.

•     Actively participate in the transitioning from legacy tool to new Due diligence tool “FENERGO” when needed.


Direct Responsibilities



•      Be able to understand the business perspective and need from the business while gathering the requirements and be able to articulate when in various forums

•      Strong hold on business analysis and tools to perform the analysis and data lineage

•      Be able to represent the group on various forums with stakeholders and end users

•      Able to think through design and drive them proactively

•      Strong understanding of the typical SDLC life cycle and role of business analyst in each of the cycle

•      Be able to bridge the gap between business, end user, development and testing team

•      Should be able to guide and mentor fellow colleagues on number of topics

•      Able to present the case with detailed analysis, options and challenges

•      Connecting with business stakeholders to understand the business problem, strategy, constraints and translate it to requirements such that the overall business vision is met.

•      Creating Requirement Specifications in the form of user stories, FSD, BRDs.

•      Documenting acceptance criteria and ensure that clear validation criteria is established.

•      Coordinate with IT development team for any blockers or requirement clarifications.

•      Functional testing of the delivered solution.

•      Tracking and prioritizing the defects based on its severity for fix.

•      Develop good understanding of technical infrastructure (databases, web development etc.) and how it interconnects with other system for data sharing

•      Coordinate and manage deployment of releases into productions.

•      Extended Production support to the Business.

•      Being flexible to work on multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks to meet stringent deadlines

•      Being able to work seamlessly in a distributed teams primarily between Paris and Mumbai

•      Ensure optimum stakeholder management.

•      Ownership of end-to-end and on time delivery of solutions.

•      Well versed with the agile documentation and workflows to show the relationships and solution architect

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·         Good understanding of IT systems (databases, web development etc.)  

·         Ability to understand Relationship Database model and execute SQL queries for data analysis.

·         Able to use and plan on MPP, Visio, JIRA

Specific Qualifications (if required)

•      Knowledge about

Client on-boarding domain or reference data



Strongly desired :

o    Hands-on or Knowledge about Client Life Cycle Management/ Client on boarding domain is highly desired.

o    Knowledge of Financial Regulatory topics, ideally to include FATCA, MIFID, Dodd Frank, EMIR, AEOI, etc.

o    Experience and knowledge of Agile/Scrum (BDD, TDD) development methodology
