Recently BNP Paribas established a European finance Operations Centre in Lisbon, with 235 positions, and part of the Group Finance function. Group Finance services ("GFS") is responsible for compiling and processing accounting and financial information in order to ensure the publication of financial information and to provide Executive Management with the necessary information for the entire Group´s financial management. It is also responsible for the design, deployment and evolutions of financial information systems.

We are looking for a Referential administrator to join the Lisbon team in charge of the projects, maintenance and administration of a referential, which handles third parties legal and Group information required for external and internal reporting (clients / businesses and regulatory).

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As referential administrator, you will be responsible of the data quality into the referential. Your main responsibilities are to:

  • Perform production monitoring activities
    • Track and ensure data quality within the referential
    • Monitor data sourcing and control the consistency of sensitive and critical data (GDPR)
    • Perform analysis on rejected data and inform stakeholders and clients
    • Follow-up of cases and remediation plan
    • Define key performance indicators
    • Manage production issues
  • Provide Clients and users with a daily support
    • Manage Clients’ Q&A
    • Ensure change management / training sessions for new users

SKILLS

 

  • Education: Bachelor or Master degree in accounting / business Management / Financial Systems
  • Professional Experience:
    • Up to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Beginners accepted.
    • Previous experience within Finance Projects teams
    • Experience in Referential Administration (clients, cost centers…) or knowledge of information systems is a plus
  • Language (oral & written skills):
    • French (B2 level),
    • English (B2/C1 level)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Rigorous with excellent attention to details
  • Availability and customer orientation skills
  • Strong communication skills (both orally and writing)
  • Pro-active behaviour regarding the ability to work in a fast changing and demanding environment
  • Team spirit and at ease with multi-tasking
  • Strong analytical mind, problem solving, planning & organisation skills

Availability: Up to 2 months of training abroad
