Relationship Manager 
(MNC associate)
 

The position:
A Multi National Coverage Relationship Manager(MNC RM) is the key-representative of BNP Paribas towards the customer group defined as Multinational Coverage Relationships. This customer group contains Dutch subsidiaries of BNP Paribas’ international clients (Pilot clients). The MNC RM may act on instruction or introduction of the Pilot RM or RAM (Regional Account Manager). In addition, the MNC RM identifies the needs of the customer(s) and translates those into opportunities for BNP Paribas as a group. The MNC RM is responsible to implement BNP Paribas’ group policy on its client portfolio and is aware of and action any change of risk profile within the market(s) and/or client portfolio. The MNC RM in this position supports the Dutch activities of Clients.

Key responsibilities:

Analyze client financial structure, identify needs, propose client strategy and objectives for a portfolio of MNC clients; act as primary client entry point for any client need and maintain client relationship at adequate level;

  • Coordinate and communicate with the Pilot RM /RAM of his clients and implement the strategy defined for the client with the Pilot RM / RAM such as to achieve commercial objectives;
  • Originate CIB products (as well as other Group products) according to the client’s needs to increase revenues and cross sell for his/her clients;
  • Ensure the active monitoring and reporting of corporate risks on his/her portfolio (anticipation of risk deterioration, quality of analysis and accuracy of information) – perform all credit reviews;
  • Updating CRMLite (call reports, status of opportunities, pipeline management) and make sure that customer data quality and the yearly risk profile are up to date;
  • Ensure that compliance rules (know your customer) and all BNPP regulations for client intake and client servicing are observed, as well as any local country regulations with respect to his/her client portfolio;
  • Prepare and share Client Action Plans on most important clients or at request of Pilot RM/RAM.

The requirements:

  • Master Degree Business Economics/ Marketing/Organizations/Corporate Law
  • Commercial experience, 4-6 years with credit products and other CIB products in a banking environment
  • Credit analysis experience


Technical Skills/knowledge and general competences:

  • Basic knowledge of multi banking products
  • Basic knowledge on general economic business principles and processes
