Position Purpose

Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the team’s goal.

This is an entry level position in Data Admin process, wherein the associate is to setting up security details in Accounting platforms or pricing securities via pricing tool to support the Fund Administration team to calculate the Net Asset Value.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Pricing:

This team updates the prevailing prices of the securities to enable the fund accountants to ascertain the market value of the securities as a part of fund valuation (NAV/ GAV)

Pricing activity is carried out on different applications for clients across APAC, UK and EMEA regions

Asset creation:

This team is responsible to setup the reference data of various instruments in the respective accounting platforms. Multiple regions such as APAC, EMEA and UK are supported.

This is an entry level in Data Admin, where in He/She will create securities or price securities in Accounting platform to support the FA team to calculate the NAV for the clients’ portfolios.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

 

Data Admin operations in India (Chennai) deal with two key processes:

Pricing:

Pricing process is to ensure that the accurate Security prices are updated on our Accounting Platform for use by the fund accountants for the calculation of their daily NAV and data feeds to our clients.

Pricing activity is carried out on two different applications Amanda & HiPort, for funds      valued in Singapore, Sydney, U.K and various other locations in Europe.

Amanda:

Is the in-house BP2S pricing platform used to validate prices for funds valued for various accounting platform. In Chennai, Amanda pricing team currently validates and provides prices for all security type for various funds based in Europe & Asia valued on Multifonds.

HiPort: The pricing team ensures all the prices in Hiport are correct and meets the need of our clients. The team ensuring correct validated prices is available for funds valued in Singapore, Thailand and UK.

Asset creation:

Asset Creation team, Chennai, deals with various activities like security creation in various applications such as Trade flow and Hiport.

HiPort Asset creation team mainly support APAC Region, It also supports London during the Chennai working hours.

Trade flow Asset creation deals with various activities like security creation in Trade flow, Broker SSI Setup, Super Broker Setup, Clearing methods. This team supports the APAC Region.

Multifonds Asset Creation supports Asset Creation needs of Asia and Europe and other BNP locations.
